We tend to recruit some 65-80 primary NQTs each year.
Our successful pool is open to all UK newly qualified teachers who have completed their initial teacher training, and have yet to complete their statutory period of induction. Our "pool" is organised and funded by Primary Heads, supported by our Achievement & Inclusion Service (Senior School Improvement Providers) demonstrating the real partnership within our Local Authority.

Recruitment is to our "pool", from where Headteachers select candidates to appoint to a specific post. Many will offer a further interview/visit prior to a job offer. This gives you a chance to see the school, meet possible future colleagues and learn more about how that particular school works.

Please note: From September 2010 Harrow are changing the age of transfer. Yr 7 will then be in secondary school i.e. Primary - Nursery to Year 6 and Secondary Yr 7 - Yr 13.
